Welcome, Royals!
Thank you for visiting! This website is designed to offer a starting point to a variety of optional and enriching activities that you may want to try out while you are learning at home.
Aside from trying your best to continue to progress in your core subjects using the resources already provided by your teachers, what is required of you these days is simply this: protect the physical and mental health of yourself and those around you. Follow the guidelines established by Alberta Health Services (AHS). More information on that can be found here: https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/assets/info/ppih/if-ppih-ncov-2019-public-faq.pdf
Everything else in this site is optional...
All of this is just for fun, enrichment, overall wellness, and a way to stay connected. There are activities here for students and non-students of all ages. Family and community members are also welcome to explore, participate, and share. You can submit questions, stories, or ideas of your own by filling in the form on the CONTACT page.
While we have to be physically distant for now, this is a place where we can still stay socially connected. Our Student Gallery page is where we will put pictures that you send us of you and what you are up to. Learning is always something to celebrate, so while we are now learning in a different way, we'll just have to celebrate it in a different way. Please email any pictures that you would like to share, but make sure you have your parents' permission to do so first! We will be posting most student pictures here instead of on Facebook or our school's main website, as we want to keep those places open for key programming and critical announcements. This website will be updated on all school days that we are learning at home, so please check back whenever you have a free moment.
Stay home, stay healthy, and have fun!
Best Wishes,
Your THS Staff
